    Questions and answers

Is the IZOD Escape backpack worth it?
At $29.97 at ShopSimon as of November 3, 2026, it is a cheap way to get a large 35-liter bag with a USB port. Expect basic materials and straps, not premium travel-bag build.
Does it fit under an airplane seat?
At 35 liters it is on the large side for a personal item. It should fit under most seats if you do not overstuff it, but check your airline's carry-on limits before flying.
Is a power bank included for the USB port?
No. The USB port is a pass-through, so you need to supply your own power bank and cable.
Does it have a padded laptop sleeve?
The listed specs do not confirm a padded laptop sleeve. Treat it as a general large backpack and add a sleeve if you carry a laptop daily.
When is the best time to buy it?
Back-to-school season and Black Friday are when backpacks see the deepest discounts. The current $29.97 at ShopSimon as of November 3, 2026 is already near the low end.
