Is 8GB of RAM enough on this laptop?

For browsing, email, video and office work, yes. If you keep many tabs or run photo editing, 8GB will feel tight, and this model's memory is not meant to be upgraded by most users.

Only light and older titles at low settings. It uses AMD integrated graphics, not a dedicated GPU.

What comes in the box?

The laptop, its lithium polymer battery and the power adapter. Nothing else is listed.

Does it have a backlit keyboard?

Yes, the keyboard is backlit, which helps in dim rooms.

Is the screen glossy?

No, it has a no-glare finish, so reflections are reduced.

Is $579 a good price?

It is the only price recorded, $579 at Walmart as of October 30, 2026, so there is no lower recent price to compare. For a 16-inch Ryzen 5 laptop with a 512GB SSD, it is a fair budget price.
