Is this watch worth $350?

You are paying for Citizen's Eco-Drive movement plus Disney Parks exclusivity. Comparable non-character Eco-Drive watches often cost less, so buy it if the Mickey design matters to you.

Does it need a battery?

No. Eco-Drive charges from light, including indoor light, and stores the charge in a capacitor. If it stops, leave it in daylight for a few hours to restart.

Citizen character watches of this type are usually water resistant for splashes and hand washing, not swimming. Check the caseback rating before wearing it in water.

Can I buy it outside DisneyStore.com?

As of November 5, 2026, two stores list it new, with the best price of $350 at DisneyStore.com. Availability elsewhere is limited.

Yes for a Disney fan, especially as a trip souvenir or birthday gift. The solar movement means the recipient will not need a battery swap.
