Is the Devain a good everyday bag?

It works for light daily use, but the magnetic closure and shoulder-only strap suit short trips better than a full commute. The inner pocket holds a phone and cards.

Does the magnetic closure stay shut?

A magnetic lock holds the flap, so it closes easily but is not as secure as a zip. Keep valuables in the inner pocket.

What color is the hardware?

The hardware is gold/brass tone, which matches the gold leather on this version.

Is $2,099.99 a good price for it?

That is the best new price across the two stores listing it as of November 7, 2026. Valentino leather shoulder bags typically sell in the low thousands, so it sits in the normal range rather than at a discount.

A phone, small wallet, keys and a few cosmetics fit comfortably. It is not sized for a tablet or laptop.

Does it come with a dust bag?

Valentino Garavani bags usually ship with a dust bag, but confirm the contents with the store before ordering.
