Is the Targhee IV Mid worth it over the Targhee III?

The IV keeps the same waterproof leather formula and adds an updated Luftcell midsole and outsole for a slightly lighter, cushier ride. If you already own the III and it fits well, the upgrade is modest; if you are buying new, the IV is the better pick.

How waterproof are these boots?

They use a KEEN.DRY waterproof/breathable membrane under a nubuck leather upper, so rain, puddles and wet grass stay out. They are not designed for full stream crossings or deep snow.

Do they run true to size?

Most buyers take their normal size, but KEEN boots run a bit roomy in the toe box. Try them with the socks you hike in; some wearers go up a half size for thicker socks.

How much do they weigh?
