Is the Onson robot vacuum worth it?

At $79.79 it is cheap for a vacuum-and-mop combo with app and voice control. The 2.4-star rating means you should expect basic cleaning and possible reliability issues, so it suits a low-stakes first robot rather than a main vacuum.

How does it compare with a Roomba or Eufy?

It undercuts most Roomba and Eufy models on price and claims higher suction than many budget rivals. Those brands have longer track records and better dock reliability, which matters more than the suction number on a robot that has to run unattended.

How long does the battery last?

Onson claims 120 minutes of runtime with self-charging. Real runtime drops with high suction and mopping, and owners report charging sometimes stops while docked, so check the charge before a scheduled run.

Will it work on carpets and rugs?

It is strongest on hard floors. Owners report it gets stuck on thin, lightweight rugs and that the brushes pull them up, so secure or remove loose rugs before running it.

What comes in the box?

Expect the robot, a charging dock, a power adapter, a mop pad or cloth, a HEPA filter, and side brushes. Extra filters and mop pads are not included, and the 0.06 gal bin fills fast.

When is the best time to buy it?

It sold for $55.00 on October 31, 2026 and $79.79 on November 1, so the current price is near its recent high. Waiting for a sale back toward $55 is reasonable given the low rating.
