About the Levoit Aero Cordless Vac

The Levoit Aero is a cordless stick vacuum with a self-emptying charging station, a 5-stage HEPA filtration system and an anti-tangle roller. Levoit rates it at 180 air watts and up to 70 minutes of runtime from a detachable battery, and the whole unit weighs 4.4 lb. Its price has swung widely in the short window tracked: $499.99 on November 1, 2026, and $299.99 on November 2, 2026. At the low end it is priced like a mid-range stick vacuum that throws in a hands-free dock.

Best forHomes with mostly hardwood floors and some rugsShedding pets and long-haired householdsBuyers who want a self-emptying dock without flagship pricingQuick daily touch-ups rather than deep whole-home cleaning
Pros
  • Auto-empty station empties the bin hands-free
  • 5-stage HEPA filtration, useful for allergy sufferers
  • Anti-tangle roller aimed at hair wrap
  • Light at 4.4 lb
  • Detachable battery rated for up to 70 minutes
  • Large 0.92 gal capacity for a stick vacuum
Cons
  • 180 air watts is modest next to premium sticks

  • Only a crevice tool included; no pet or upholstery brush listed
  • No NRTL safety listing shown
  • Dock takes up floor space and needs its own power outlet

What reviewers say

With 62 ratings averaging 4.2 out of 5, reception is positive but not unanimous. Owners tend to like the hands-free emptying and light weight; the common complaints center on suction on carpets and runtime at higher power.

Pros
  • Hands-free auto-empty is the standout feature
  • Light and easy to carry between rooms
  • HEPA filtration leaves less dust in the air
  • Roller resists hair wrap better than expected
Cons
  • Suction feels weak on thicker carpets
  • Runtime drops sharply on max power
  • Dock footprint and emptying bag or bin upkeep
  • Few accessories in the box

Questions and answers

Is the Levoit Aero worth it at $299.99?
At $299.99, its lowest tracked price as of November 2, 2026, it is a reasonable buy if the self-emptying dock and HEPA filtration matter to you. At the $499.99 high from November 1, 2026, it competes with stronger premium sticks and is harder to justify.
How does it compare with a Dyson or Shark stick?
It trades peak suction for convenience: the auto-empty station and 4.4 lb body are its edge, while premium Dyson and Shark models generally pull harder on carpet. Pick it for hard floors and daily upkeep, not deep carpet cleaning.
What is the real battery life?
Levoit rates up to 70 minutes, which assumes the lowest power mode. Expect much less on high suction, and note the battery is detachable so you can swap in a spare.
Does it work on carpets and rugs?
It is recommended for hardwood and rugs, and 180 air watts is enough for low-pile rugs and surface debris. Thick or high-pile carpet is where owners report it struggles.
What comes in the box?
The vacuum, the auto-emptying charging station and a crevice tool. No upholstery or pet brush is listed, so budget for extras if you need them.
When is it cheapest?
Tracked pricing ran from $299.99 on November 2, 2026, to $499.99 on November 1, 2026, so discounts of this size do appear. Watch for sale periods rather than buying at the top of the range.
