Is this good for gaming?

The Ryzen 9 8945HS handles games well, but the 60Hz screen caps smoothness at 60 frames per second and the GPU model is not stated. Check the exact graphics chip before buying for demanding titles.

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?

It ships with 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. NIMO does not state whether the memory or drive bays are user-accessible, so confirm with the seller before planning upgrades.

It weighs 7.6 lb, which is typical for a 17.3-inch laptop but heavy for daily commuting.

Does it have a fingerprint reader?

Yes, it has a fingerprint scanner for Windows sign-in, plus a backlit keyboard.

What ports does it have?

It lists USB-C and HDMI, which covers an external monitor and common peripherals. The full port list is not given.

Is $999.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed, $999.99 at Walmart as of November 6, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge against. Compare it with similarly specced 17-inch laptops before deciding.
