Is the Soundcore Life A1 worth it?

At $49.99 at Newegg.com as of November 6, 2026, it is a solid budget pick if you want long battery, waterproofing and bass. Skip it if you need active noise cancellation.

Does the Life A1 have noise cancellation?

No. It relies on passive isolation only, so it will not block engine or crowd noise the way ANC earbuds do.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 9 hours from a single charge, and a 10-minute charge gives about 1.5 hours of listening.

Can you swim with the Life A1?

It is rated IPX7, which means it survives sweat and brief water immersion. Soundcore does not market it as a swimming earbud, so use it in water at your own risk.

Does the case support wireless charging?

Yes. The charging case supports wireless charging as well as USB-C.

Does it work with iPhone?

Yes. It pairs over Bluetooth 5.0 with one-step pairing and works with iPhones and Android phones.
