Is the Brooklyn Bedding gel memory foam mattress worth it?

At $154 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheaper memory foam mattresses from a US maker. It suits budget buyers who want contouring foam, not shoppers who need strong edge support.

Should I get the 10-inch or the 12-inch?

The 12-inch has more foam, so it feels plusher and more supportive for heavier sleepers. The 10-inch is the lower-cost pick and is fine for lighter adults and guest rooms.

Is it good for side sleepers?

Buyers report good spine alignment and shoulder and hip relief, which suits side sleepers. If you weigh more than about 230 pounds, the 12-inch is the safer choice.

Does the gel foam actually sleep cool?

Gel infusion helps compared with plain memory foam, and buyers describe a cool, breathable surface. It is still an all-foam mattress, so very hot sleepers may want a cooling topper or a hybrid.

What sizes and firmness levels are there?

Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King and California King, in 10-inch or 12-inch heights. Each height comes in plush or firm comfort.

The best new price seen is $154 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026. Mattress prices usually drop around major sales, so check the price history before buying.
