Is the Roomba 105 Vac worth it?

It is a reasonable pick if you want a cheap iRobot vacuum for hard floors and light messes. If you have pets or wall-to-wall carpet, spend more on a stronger model.

Does it empty itself?

No. The 0.1 gal bin is bagless and you empty it by hand, so expect to do that often on dirty floors.

Does it work with Alexa and Google Assistant?

Yes. It supports Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri, so you can start and stop cleaning by voice.

How does it compare with higher Roomba models?

It has less suction and simpler navigation than the mid-range and premium Roombas. It is lighter and much cheaper, which is the main trade-off.

When is the best time to buy?

Its recent low was $140.00 on October 30, 2026, against $159.99 at Home Depot on November 6, 2026. Waiting for a sale near $140 is the better buy.

The robot, a charging dock and a power cord. No self-emptying base or extra brushes are included at this price.
