Is 1600 x 900 sharp enough on a 17.3-inch screen?

It is usable for web, email and video, but text looks less crisp than on 1080p panels of the same size. If sharp text matters, look at a full-HD 17-inch model.

Is the Core i3-N305 fast enough for everyday use?

Yes for browsing, Office, streaming and video calls. It is not suited to video editing, gaming or heavy multitasking beyond what the 32GB of RAM covers.

Does it have a touchscreen?

Yes. The listing specifies a touchscreen with an anti-glare finish.

What ports does it have?

USB-A, USB-C and HDMI, enough for a mouse, an external drive and a monitor without a hub.

Is $399.99 a good price?

It is the lowest new price among the three stores listing it, as of November 7, 2026. For a 17-inch laptop with 32GB of RAM, that is a low entry point.

About 4 lb, which is light for a 17-inch laptop but heavier than most 13- and 14-inch models.
