Is the Royal Gourmet 4-burner grill worth it?

At $219.99 it is a cheap way into a four-burner cart grill with cast-iron grates and side shelves. Expect basic heat control and light build quality rather than searing power.

How many burgers can it cook?

Royal Gourmet rates it for 19 burgers across the 397 sq. in. primary area and 115 sq. in. warming rack. That suits a family cookout, not a large party.

Does it have a side burner?

No. The two side shelves are flat prep surfaces only, so you cannot boil or simmer on the side.

How much heat does it put out?

34,000 BTU across four burners, about 8,500 BTU per burner. That is on the low side for this size, so preheat fully and keep the lid down.

When is the price lowest?

What do I need to run it?

A standard propane tank, which is not included. The grill is freestanding with two wheels, so it needs a level spot on a patio or deck.
