    Questions and answers

    Is this set worth it?
For a low-cost starter set that works on induction, yes. At $62.99 at JCPenney as of November 4, 2026, it costs less than many single induction-ready pans.
Does it really work on induction?
Yes. The set is listed as induction ready and compatible with induction, gas, electric, ceramic and glass cooktops.
Can I put these pans in the oven?
Yes, but only up to 350°F. That rules out broiling and most high-heat baking.
    Are the pans dishwasher safe?
They are listed as dishwasher safe, but hand washing is also recommended and will keep the ceramic coating in better shape.
What is included in the 13-piece set?
The set includes frying pans, saucepans, a 5-quart stock pot and vented lids. It does not include a canner.
When is the best time to buy?
Cookware sets like this usually drop during holiday and back-to-school sales. The current best new price is $62.99 at JCPenney as of November 4, 2026.
