    Questions and answers

What age is this grocery set for?
Costway lists a minimum age of 3 years. The small cart parts and chalk make it best for kids past the mouthing stage.
What is included in the set?
You get the wooden grocery stand, a shopping cart and two chalkboards. Chalk is not listed, so plan to supply your own.
    Is it all wood?
The set is listed as wood, which is why it weighs more and costs more than plastic play stores. Expect a sturdier but heavier piece.
    Is $114.99 a good price?
That is the best new price across the three stores carrying it as of November 6, 2026. Wooden play sets with a cart and chalkboards often run higher, so it sits at the low end.
    Does it need assembly?
Yes. The stand and cart arrive unassembled, so set aside time and a screwdriver before play.
