Is the Nova S50 worth it at $79.99?

At $79.99 at Macy's as of November 3, 2026, it is a low-cost way to add bass and clearer dialogue to a TV. It is worth it if you want simple 2.1 sound; skip it if you need Atmos or rear speakers.

Does it support Dolby Atmos?

No. It is a 2.1 system with no height or rear channels, so it plays standard Dolby Digital and stereo content, not Atmos.

How do I connect it to my TV?

Use HDMI eARC if your TV has it, which carries audio over one cable and lets the TV remote control volume. Otherwise use the optical or AUX input.

Is the subwoofer wireless?

No. The subwoofer connects to the bar with a cable, so you need to place it within reach of that cable.

Can I mount it on a wall?

Yes. The bar is wall-mountable and only 38mm tall, so it fits under most wall-mounted TVs.

The lowest price seen since October 31, 2026 is $79.99 on November 3, 2026, against a high of $99.99 on October 31. Watch for drops back toward $80.
