Is $149 a good price for the Maya Medium Backpack?

It is above the $119.00 low recorded on October 30, 2026, so it is not the cheapest it has been. If you are not in a hurry, waiting for a drop back toward $119 is reasonable.

What can the 6-liter capacity hold?

A tablet, wallet, phone, keys and a few small items. It is not sized for a laptop, gym clothes or a full day of travel.

Is it leather or canvas?

The body is canvas, with Michael Kors hardware and trim. Canvas is lighter than leather but shows marks more easily.

How does the flap closure work?

The bag closes with a flap rather than a full zip, so access is quick but less secure than a zipped top. Keep valuables in an inner pocket.

Is this a good everyday backpack?

Yes for light daily carry in a city or office setting. It is a poor fit if you need to carry a laptop or bulky items.
