Is the 300 lb weight limit per seat or for the whole sofa?

It is the total for the whole sofa, not per seat. That works out to roughly 100 lb per person across three seats, so it suits lighter households.

How firm are the seat cushions?

The seat cushions use dense high-resilience foam and are described as resisting sagging, so expect a supportive rather than sink-in feel. The pillow back is softer.

What are the dimensions?

It is 81 inches long with a 21-inch seat depth, 18-inch seat height and 19-inch back height. Check your room and doorway clearance against the 81-inch length before ordering.

Do the arms really work as headrests?

The pillow-top arms are oversized and padded, so they can serve as a headrest if you lie across the sofa. They are not adjustable.

What is the upholstery and how do I clean it?

It is a brown linen-type fabric with a subtle metallic sheen. Treat it as spot-clean only, since the covers are not described as removable or machine washable.

How much assembly is required?

The frame comes with black plastic legs that attach at setup. Expect to bolt on the legs and possibly the back sections rather than assemble the whole frame.
