Is the 5TH WHEEL folding e-bike worth $499.97?

At $499.97 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a low entry price for a folding fat-tire e-bike with a 500W motor and 7-speed Shimano gears. It is the only new price tracked, so compare it against other folding e-bikes in the same class before deciding.

How fast does the 500W motor go?

The listing does not state a top assisted speed. As a Class 2-style e-bike with a 500W motor, expect assist up to about 20 mph, but confirm the class and speed limit with the seller before buying.

What is the range on a charge?

The listing does not give battery capacity or range. Range depends on rider weight, terrain, assist level and temperature, so ask the seller for the watt-hour rating if range matters to you.

The listed rider height range is 5'1" to 6'2". Riders outside that range should check the seat and handlebar adjustment before buying.

Can I ride it without the motor?

Yes. The 7-speed Shimano drivetrain lets you pedal it like a normal bike, though the fat tires and folding frame make it heavier than a standard bicycle.

What comes in the box?

The listing does not detail the box contents. Folding e-bikes in this class typically ship with the charger, pedals and basic tools; confirm with the seller whether a charger and any accessories are included.
