Is the Legion 5i with RTX 5060 worth $2,138?

It is a fair price for a 165Hz OLED gaming laptop with an i7-14700HX and 1TB SSD, but the $809.00 low on November 1 shows how far it can swing. Compare against RTX 5070 machines near this price before buying.

How does it compare with the previous Legion 5i?

The 15IRX10 moves to a 15.1-inch 2560 x 1600 OLED at 165Hz, Wi-Fi 7 and RTX 5060, and trims weight to 1.9 kg. The older model's LCD panel and Wi-Fi 6E are the main step-downs.

How is the battery life?

Expect roughly 4 to 6 hours of light use and under 2 hours gaming on the OLED at 165Hz. Drop the refresh rate and brightness for longer unplugged sessions.

Can I upgrade the RAM and storage?

Yes, the Legion 5i has two SO-DIMM slots and two M.2 slots, so you can add memory beyond 16GB and a second SSD. Check the service manual before opening the bottom panel.

What comes in the box?

This open-box listing ships the laptop in new condition without a retail box, plus a 3-month Microsoft 365 Personal subscription. A power adapter is included; confirm with the seller if you need the original packaging.

Prices swung from $809.00 on November 1 to $2,849.00 on October 31, so watch for flash sales around Black Friday and back-to-school. Set a price alert rather than buying at the current $2,138.00.
