Installation
These plastic slip-on rocker and cab corner covers can be installed in mere hours (2-4 hours per side depending on technician experience and vehicle condition), freeing up shop bays and increasing the throughput of your business.
The recommended installation process involves removing and treating the corroded areas to help prevent and slow down rust. This ensures longevity, avoiding rework and comebacks. You can buy our preferred rust inhibitor, but feel free to use your own treatment method. A really cheap and effective option is mixing grease & oil and spraying the inside of the rockers using a pneumatic applicator. Cavity wax will also suffice. The covers are attached to the vehicle with automotive grade double-sided 3M tape and rivets (included).
Fitment
Quick Covers are designed to fit snugly over OEM/ factory rocker panels and cab corners. Vehicles that have been repaired in the past will likely experience fitment issues. In those instances we recommend removing all body filler for best fitment. In some cases, the replacement panels may be of such poor quality/fitment that they will need to have sections altered or removed before installing Quick Covers. Generally, we recommend installing Quick Covers over OEM/factory panels only.
Painting
Smooth Quick Covers are very easy to paint with recommended primer (Polyvance Bumper & Cladding Coat) and require NO SCUFFING, saving your painter valuable time.

Smooth- Smooth Quick Covers must be painted before installation to ensure UV protection. The smooth covers are ready to be cleaned, primed, and painted right out of the box. (*some surfaces are pre-sanded as a courtesy*)
Textured- The black textured finish resembles a spray on bed-liner. The textured covers have UV protective coating and are ready to install right out of the box.

Coverage Area-
Quick Covers offer the most coverage of any other slip-on products on the market. The cab corner section covers from from the top of the cab corner to the lower pinch weld of the rocker and wraps a few inches around the back of the cab corner. The rocker section covers from the upper pinch weld to the lower pinch weld and from the back of the cab corner to the front fender.
