Our take on the 1 BY ONE Fully Automatic Record Player with Speakers, HiFi Vinyl Turntable

The 1 BY ONE Fully Automatic Record Player is a belt-drive turntable with built-in speakers, Bluetooth 5.0 output, and USB recording to MP3. It ships with an Audio-Technica AT3600L moving-magnet cartridge on an aluminum die-cast tonearm and platter, plus a built-in phono preamp and stereo RCA outputs. Its fully automatic operation starts and returns the tonearm with one control, which sets it apart from most manual decks at this level. No current price was provided, so check the latest best price against its recent range before buying.

Digitizing old records to MP3 over USB
Pros

  • Fully automatic tonearm start and return
  • Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge is a proven, replaceable entry-level stylus
  • Bluetooth 5.0 output and USB recording add modern flexibility
  • Built-in phono preamp and RCA outputs allow use with a hi-fi system
  • Aluminum die-cast platter and tonearm feel sturdier than plastic rivals
Cons
  • Built-in speakers are modest; most buyers will want external speakers
  • Only 45 rpm is listed, so 33⅓ rpm playback is unclear from the specs
  • Wow and flutter of ≤0.15% is average, not audiophile-grade
  • 20.9 lb and a large footprint limit where it fits
  • No 78 rpm support for shellac records

Questions and answers

Is this record player worth it for a beginner?
Yes, if you want a single box that plays records without an amp or separate speakers. The automatic tonearm and pre-installed cartridge remove most setup friction. Buyers with a real hi-fi system should compare manual decks at the same price.
Does it play 33⅓ rpm records?
The listed spec shows 45 rpm only, which is unusual for a turntable. Confirm 33⅓ rpm support with the seller before buying, since most LPs spin at 33⅓.
Can I connect it to my own speakers or soundbar?
Yes. It has stereo RCA outputs and a built-in phono preamp, so you can run it into powered speakers or an amp. Bluetooth 5.0 also lets you send audio to Bluetooth speakers or headphones.
How do I record vinyl to MP3?
Connect the turntable to a computer over USB and use recording software to capture playback as digital files. The built-in preamp handles the phono stage, so no extra hardware is needed.
What comes in the box?
Expect the turntable, a dust cover, the Audio-Technica AT3600L stylus, a 45 rpm adapter, RCA cables, and an AC power adapter. Check the listing for the exact accessory list.
When is the price lowest?
Vinyl turntables like this tend to dip during Black Friday, Prime Day, and back-to-school sales. Track the price history and buy when it sits near the low end of its recent range.
