Questions and answers

Is it worth buying over a pump espresso machine?
If you want strong stovetop coffee cheaply, yes. A pump machine costs far more but gives real pressure and crema, which this does not.
Does it work on an induction cooktop?
Usually not. Aluminum is not magnetic, so it needs a gas, electric coil, or ceramic stove, or an induction adapter plate.
How much coffee does 12 cups make?
About 12 ounces total, in small demitasse cups. That is roughly two to three standard mugs.
Can I use espresso capsules in it?
The listing says capsules are supported, but loose ground coffee or espresso gives more control over strength.
What is in the box?
The pot with its removable filter basket. No paper filters are needed.
When is it cheapest?
The only new price listed is $31.49 at Target as of November 5, 2026. Watch for seasonal kitchen sales to beat it.
Where is the 12 Cup Espresso Coffee Maker Aluminum cheapest?
At Target, for $31.49, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the 12 Cup Espresso Coffee Maker Aluminum?
