Our take on the 126" Modern Plush Cloud Sectional Sofa with U-Shape Chaise

This is a 126-inch U-shaped sectional with a plush "cloud" build, a chaise section and built-in cup holders, sold in black. Its 43-inch depth makes it a lounge-first piece: deep seats you sink into rather than sit up in. It is aimed at large living rooms and media rooms where seating five or more people matters. No current price was provided, so check the live comparison for where it sits against its recent range.

Questions and answers

How big a room does this sofa need?
Plan for a room roughly 16 feet wide or more. At 126 inches long and 43 inches deep, it needs clearance on all sides for walking and reclining.
Is a cloud sofa good for everyday sitting?
It suits lounging and movie nights. The deep, soft cushions offer little back support for long sitting sessions or working from home.
Does it come apart for delivery?
U-shaped sectionals this size usually ship in several boxes and assemble on site. Confirm the number of pieces and door clearance with the seller before ordering.
How do I clean the black fabric?
Vacuum it weekly and blot spills right away with a damp cloth. Check the care label for whether covers are removable or machine washable.
When is the best time to buy?
Large sofas tend to drop around major holiday sales and at end-of-season clearance. Set a price alert and compare against the recent range before buying.
