Our take on the 12gram Airgun Co2 Cartridge 50 Pack - 12 gram Powerlets Bulbs

These are Umarex C1250 12-gram CO2 powerlets, sold in a 50-pack. Each aluminum cartridge is about 83 mm tall and 19 mm wide and delivers roughly 20 consistent shots, which suits CO2 air pistols, rifles and airsoft guns that take standard 12-gram capsules. At $39.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, the pack works out to about 80 cents per cartridge, and only one store currently lists a new price.

What reviewers say

Shooters generally treat Umarex 12 g powerlets as reliable, consistent capsules for CO2 airguns and airsoft guns, with the usual caveats about cold-weather performance and pierced-capsule waste.

Pros
  • Consistent velocity shot to shot
  • Clean, well-sealed capsules that rarely leak
  • Good value in bulk packs
Cons
  • Power and shot count fall off in cold weather
  • Occasional dud or underfilled capsule
  • Single-use, so ongoing cost adds up

Questions and answers

Is the 50-pack worth it over smaller packs?
At $39.99 for 50, you pay about 80 cents per cartridge. Smaller packs usually cost more per capsule, so the 50-pack makes sense if you shoot regularly.
Will these fit my CO2 air pistol or airsoft gun?
They fit guns that take standard 12-gram CO2 capsules, which covers most CO2 pistols, rifles and airsoft replicas. They do not fit guns built for 88 g or 90 g cylinders.
How many shots do I get per cartridge?
Umarex rates about 20 consistent shots per cartridge. Real counts vary with the gun, temperature and rate of fire, and drop in cold weather.
Are these the same as other 12 g CO2 cartridges?
They are standard 12 g capsules, so any gun that takes 12 g CO2 will accept them. Umarex uses aluminum bodies, which resist rust better than steel.
When is the best time to buy?
Bulk CO2 packs see the deepest discounts around Black Friday and pre-summer sales. The current $39.99 at Amazon is the only new price listed as of November 4, 2026.
Where is the 12gram Airgun Co2 Cartridge 50 Pack - 12 gram Powerlets Bulbs cheapest?
At Amazon, for $39.99, as of our latest check.
