Is $1,440 a fair price for this rug?

It is the only new price listed, $1,440 at Amazon as of November 8, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge against. Compare it with other hand-knotted 12-foot round wool rugs before deciding.

Is this rug new or antique?

The listing describes it as old, meaning a vintage or antique piece rather than a newly made rug. Expect some fading and wear consistent with its age.

What size room does a 12x12 round rug fit?

It covers a 12-foot circle, which suits a large dining room, foyer or open seating area. Measure your space first, since a round rug this size leaves corners of the floor bare.

How should I care for a hand-knotted wool rug?

Vacuum gently without a beater bar, blot spills right away and have it professionally cleaned every few years. Use a pad underneath to reduce slipping and wear.

What colors will the rug be?

The pattern is floral in beige and light pink. Because it is an old rug, the actual tones may be softer or more faded than a new rug in the same design.
