Our take on the 136" Cloud Sectional Couch with U-Shaped Chaise, 7-Seater Corduroy Boneless Sofa with Ottoman

This is a 136-inch, seven-seat modular sectional in soft corduroy with a U-shaped chaise and a matching ottoman. It is a boneless sofa, meaning the seats are filled with compressed foam rather than a steel spring frame, so it is low, deep and very soft. It suits large living rooms and movie-room setups, but it is not a firm sit. The latest listed price is not available in the data provided, so check the current price against its recent range before buying.

Questions and answers

Is a boneless sofa comfortable for everyday sitting?
It is very soft and deep, which suits lounging. It gives less back and lumbar support than a sprung sofa, so people with back issues should try it first.
How big a room does the 136-inch version need?
Plan for at least 136 inches of wall space plus clearance to walk around the chaise and ottoman. A room of roughly 15 by 18 feet or larger keeps it from feeling cramped.
Does the corduroy cover come off for washing?
Most modular corduroy sofas have removable, zippered covers on the seat and back cushions. Confirm the cover care instructions for this model before washing.
Can the pieces be split into separate seats?
Yes, modular sections usually detach and can be used as separate chairs or rearranged into an L-shape. Check that the connectors are included.
What is in the box?
Expect the sectional sections, the U-shaped chaise pieces, the ottoman and the connecting hardware. Cushions usually ship compressed and need a day or two to expand.
When is it cheapest?
Modular sofas tend to drop during holiday sales and end-of-season clearance. Track the price history and buy when it sits near the low end of its recent range.
