Our take on the 14 inch Folding Electric Bike for Adults, 500W, 360Wh

This is a budget folding e-bike with 14-inch wheels, a 500W hub motor and a 360Wh battery built into a steel frame. It folds for storage or trunk transport and has full suspension plus a 3-speed drivetrain. The 2.6-out-of-5 rating from 53 buyers is a warning sign: small wheels and a heavy steel frame make it a short-trip machine, not a commuter. No current price was provided, so compare it against the $500–$900 range typical for 500W folding e-bikes before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this folding e-bike worth it?
Only for very short trips and light use. The 2.6/5 rating from 53 buyers means you should expect to check the hinge, brakes and battery soon after delivery, and budget for repairs.
How fast does a 500W 14-inch e-bike go?
Most 500W folders of this type top out around 20 mph with pedal assist, and throttle-only speed is usually lower. Small wheels make anything above 15 mph feel unstable.
How far will the 360Wh battery go?
Expect roughly 15 to 25 miles with pedal assist and less on throttle alone. Range drops sharply in cold weather, on hills, or with a heavier rider.
Can it fit in a car trunk?
Yes, the folding frame is the main selling point. Check the folded dimensions against your trunk, because steel-frame folders of this size still weigh around 50 pounds or more.
What should I check before riding it?
Check the folding latch, brake adjustment and tire pressure before the first ride, and re-tighten the hinge and stem bolts after the first few miles.
When is it cheapest?
Folding e-bikes in this class usually drop during spring sales and Black Friday. Compare the live price across stores before buying, since no current price was listed here.
What do buyers say about the 14 inch Folding Electric Bike for Adults, 500W, 360Wh?
Rated 2.6 out of 5 from 53 ratings.
