Our take on the 15.6 inch FHD Student Laptop 8GB RAM 256GB SSD

This is a budget 15.6-inch laptop built around an older Intel Core i3-6100U, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, running Windows. Its selling points are the 1080p IPS screen, a fingerprint reader and a backlit keyboard, which are uncommon at this price. At $309.60 at Walmart as of November 8, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against. Buy it for light schoolwork and browsing, not for anything demanding.
