Our take on the 16 Pack Mason Jars Set, 8x16 oz Wide Mouth + 8x4 oz Regular Mouth with Seal Lids, Labels & Hemp Rope

A 16-piece glass canning jar set: eight 16 oz wide-mouth jars and eight 4 oz regular-mouth jars, each with a seal lid, plus labels and hemp rope. The wide-mouth jars suit pickles, sauces and dry goods; the small jars suit spices, jams and favors. It is freezer safe, so it works for batch storage as well as canning. No current price was provided, so check the latest price against other 16-piece jar bundles before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this set worth it?
It is a reasonable buy if you want both quart-ish storage and small spice jars in one order with lids and labels included. Compare the per-jar price with single-size packs before deciding.
Can I use these jars for pressure canning?
Only if the lids and jars are rated for it. The listing calls them seal lids, not canning lids, so confirm before using them in a pressure canner. For water-bath canning and dry storage they are fine.
Are the jars freezer safe?
Yes, the set is listed as freezer safe. Leave headspace when freezing liquids so the glass does not crack.
What is in the box?
Eight 16 oz wide-mouth jars, eight 4 oz regular-mouth jars, a lid for each jar, labels and hemp rope. That is 16 jars and 16 lids total.
When is the best time to buy?
Canning jar sets usually drop around late summer harvest season and during holiday sales. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.
What do buyers say about the 16 Pack Mason Jars Set, 8x16 oz Wide Mouth + 8x4 oz Regular Mouth with Seal Lids, Labels & Hemp Rope?
