Is the Geryst GS400 Ultra worth it?

For a budget headset that works on PS5, Switch and PC, yes. If you need top-tier audio or a broadcast-quality mic, spend more on a name brand.

Does it work with PS5 and Switch?

Yes. Use the 2.4GHz dongle for PS5 and PC, and Bluetooth or the dongle for Switch depending on the model. The 3.5mm cable works with anything that has a headphone jack.

How long does the battery last?

Geryst rates it at up to 45 hours. Expect less with RGB lighting on and at higher volume.

Is the 7.1 surround sound real?

No. It is a simulated stereo effect from the 40mm drivers, not discrete surround. It can help with direction cues but sounds processed.

The headset, a 2.4GHz USB dongle, a USB-C charging cable, and a 3.5mm audio cable. Check the listing for the exact bundle.

Budget headsets like this usually drop during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Watch the price history rather than buying at full list.
