Questions and answers

Is this trike worth $589.99?
At $589.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is a low-cost entry into a folding electric trike. Only one store lists it new, so shop around before assuming that is the floor.
How fast and how far can it go?
The motor is rated at 22 mph and the battery at about 30 miles per charge. Expect real-world range to drop with hills, cargo weight and full-throttle riding.
Does it need assembly?
Yes. The listing says assembly is required, so plan on tools and time, or budget for a bike shop to build it.
Is it safe to ride on hills?
It has a single speed, so pedaling assist on steep climbs is limited and you will lean on the 350W motor. Disc brakes help on descents, but the steel frame adds weight.
Can it fit in a car or small apartment?
It folds, which helps with storage and transport. The steel frame still makes it heavy, so lifting it into a trunk is a two-person job for many owners.
When is the price lowest?
With only one store listing it new, there is no track record of discounts. Watch for seasonal sales at Walmart rather than expecting a predictable low point.
Where is the 20" Folding Electric Trike 3 Wheels Electric Bicycle cheapest?
At Walmart, for $589.99, as of our latest check.
