Our take on the 20V Cordless Combi Drill & Impact Driver Kit with x2 2.0Ah Batteries, Charger & Bag, PowerShare Compatible

This is a Worx 20V cordless kit pairing a combi drill with an impact driver, plus two 2.0Ah batteries, a charger and a carry bag. Both tools run on Worx's PowerShare 20V battery platform, so the packs also fit other Worx 20V garden and power tools. The 2.0Ah packs are compact and light, which suits light to medium drilling and driving rather than all-day heavy use. No current price was supplied for this listing, so check the latest best price against its recent range before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this kit worth it for home DIY?
Yes, if your jobs are assembly, shelving, fencing and light repairs. Two tools and two batteries in one box cover most household drilling and driving.
Do the batteries fit other Worx tools?
Yes. The 2.0Ah packs use Worx's PowerShare 20V system, so they fit other Worx 20V power and garden tools. They do not fit other brands.
How long do the 2.0Ah batteries last?
Expect roughly an hour of light drilling and driving per pack, less under continuous heavy load. Having two packs lets you keep working while one charges.
What is in the box?
A combi drill, an impact driver, two 2.0Ah 20V batteries, a charger and a soft carry bag. Bits are not included.
When is the best time to buy?
Worx kits usually drop around Black Friday, Father's Day and spring DIY promotions. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.
Can the drill handle masonry?
The combi drill has a hammer mode for light masonry, such as brick and block. For regular concrete work, a corded SDS drill is the better tool.
