Will these fit my trash can?

They are made for cans with a perimeter of 68 to 78 cm, roughly a 22 to 25 cm diameter round can. Measure around the rim before buying; a can outside that range will be too loose or too tight.

How many bands come in the set?

Three bands. Each is black, about 61 cm long and 2.3 cm wide.

Do I have to take the band off to change the bag?

Yes. The band sits over the bag on the rim, so you lift it off, swap the bag, and stretch it back on.

Are they better than clips or ties?

They do the same job without disposable parts and are harder to lose than single clips. Clips are quicker to move between cans, though.

Is $7.99 a good price?

It is the best new price among the two stores listing it as of November 6, 2026, at about $2.66 per band. There is no long price history to compare against.
