Do these lights need an electrician?

No. They run on batteries and mount to the ceiling, so no wiring is required. You do need to recharge or replace the batteries periodically.

What batteries do they use?

The listing specifies ½AA batteries. That size is less common than AA, so buy spares before you install the lights.

They are rated dry only, so keep them out of damp or steamy areas. A covered porch or a humid bathroom is not a good fit.

Each light offers 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral and 6000K daylight. Expect a switch or button on the fixture to select the setting.

That works out to about $27 per light. Only one store lists it new as of November 7, 2026, so there is no lower price to compare against.

Four ceiling lights. Check the listing for mounting hardware and batteries, since the pack contents are not fully detailed.
