Here's the honest part: parts of some rolls may not be usable. Where there's a tear or a heavy stain, you'll trim it off and toss that section or repair it with foil tape. What's left is the same radiant barrier that works exactly like our first-quality material. If you want to put up a full sheet but have some white stains, that's ok, anywhere the foil is you will get the full effect of the radiant barrier. See photos for expectations of product.

The clearance foil is not as strong as our Original AtticFoil® because it is made from a recycled content scrim, so the clearance foil can rip if you forcefully try to tear it. However, this clearance product is still a great choice for house wrap or under a new metal roofing system, and it will work great for most attic applications. It’s also perfect for making your own radiant barrier OSB decking (Techshield®)!

This clearance radiant barrier is a double-sided, 48″ wide roll at a great value! The 48″ wide roll is the best option to staple horizontally across the attic, to the bottom of the roof rafters.
