Our take on the 73.4" Boneless Cloud Corduroy Compression 2-Seat Sofa

The Boneless Cloud is a 73.4-inch two-seat sofa in green corduroy, built on a compression-foam "boneless" frame with no springs or hard frame rails. It sits low, with a 17-inch seat height, and is meant to feel soft and sink-in rather than firm and upright. It suits small living rooms and casual lounges more than formal seating.

Questions and answers

Is the Boneless Cloud sofa comfortable for everyday sitting?
It is soft and sink-in, which most people like for lounging. If you want firm back support or sit upright for long stretches, it will feel too soft.
How does it hold up over time?
Compression-foam sofas without springs tend to soften and lose height with daily use. Expect the seat to feel flatter after a year or two of regular sitting.
Does the corduroy cover come off for washing?
Most versions of this sofa have fixed covers, so spot-clean only. Check the specific listing before buying if washable covers matter to you.
Will it fit through a standard doorway?
At 73.4 inches wide it ships in pieces or compressed, so check the box dimensions. Measure your door and hallway before ordering.
Is a low 17-inch seat height a problem?
It is comfortable for lounging and fine for most adults. Taller people and anyone with knee or hip issues may find it hard to stand up from.
When is the best time to buy it?
Prices on this type of sofa move around sales events and clearance. Compare current store prices and the recent price history before buying.
