Is 6,000 watts enough to run my house?

It covers essentials like a fridge, furnace fan, lights, TV and a few small appliances, and the 240V outlet can run a well pump or a transfer switch. It will not run central AC or an all-electric house without load management.

How long does it run on a full tank?

About 8 hours at half load on the 7-gallon tank. Expect closer to 5 to 6 hours at heavier loads.

Can I use it for sensitive electronics?

It is a conventional generator, not an inverter, so power is not as clean. Computers and TVs generally work, but use a surge protector or a UPS for expensive gear.

Does it have electric start?

No. It starts with a recoil pull cord only.

What outlets does it have?

Five outlets: GFCI duplex 5-20R receptacles, a 120/240V L14-30R twist-lock, and 12V DC connections.

Our take on the A-iPower SUA7000C Gasoline Generator

The A-iPower SUA7000C is a gasoline-powered portable generator with a 6,000-watt continuous and 7,000-watt peak output, driven by a 13 HP engine. It runs on a 7-gallon tank for about 8 hours at half load and offers 120/240V output through five outlets, including a 30-amp twist-lock for transfer-switch hookups. It is a conventional, non-inverter unit, so it is loud at 74 dB and heavy at 206 lbs, but it rolls on included wheels. The best new price is $999.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, the only new listing found.
