Our take on the ACEMAGIC W1 Mini PC AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS

The ACEMAGIC W1 is a small desktop built around AMD's Ryzen 7 8745HS, an 8-core Zen 4 chip with Radeon 780M integrated graphics, paired with DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD. It runs Windows 11 Pro, has two M.2 2280 slots for storage upgrades, 2.5G Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 and dual display output up to 8K at 60Hz. The milled aluminum case measures about 128 x 128 x 41 mm, so it fits behind a monitor or under a TV. It is a light-gaming and general-purpose machine, not a substitute for a discrete-GPU desktop.

Questions and answers

Is the ACEMAGIC W1 good for gaming?
It handles esports titles and older games at 1080p with lowered settings thanks to the Radeon 780M. Demanding modern games will need low settings and may still run below 60 fps.
Can I add more storage or RAM?
Yes. There are two M.2 2280 slots, so you can add a second SSD alongside the included 1TB drive. Check the SO-DIMM slots before buying RAM, since the listing does not state capacity or slot count.
Does it come with Windows?
Yes, Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled. No monitor, keyboard or mouse is included.
How many monitors can it drive?
The listing cites output up to 8K at 60Hz, but does not state the number of ports. Confirm the HDMI and DisplayPort layout with the seller if you need dual displays.
Is it worth it over a laptop or a full-size desktop?
It suits buyers who want a tiny, upgradeable Windows box for a desk or TV and do not need a discrete GPU. A laptop wins on portability; a full-size desktop wins on gaming headroom.
What do buyers say about the ACEMAGIC W1 Mini PC AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS?
