Is 320 Hz worth it over a 144 Hz monitor?

For competitive shooters, yes: motion is noticeably clearer and aiming feels more direct. For slower single-player games, the gain is small and a 1440p panel may be a better use of money.

Can my PC push 320 frames per second at 1080p?

Only with a strong CPU and a mid-to-high-end GPU in esports titles like Valorant or CS2. In demanding AAA games you will run well below 320 fps, though the monitor still helps with screen tearing and input lag.

Does it work with a console?

Yes, but consoles cap output well below 320 Hz, so most of the monitor's advantage is lost. It is best paired with a PC over DisplayPort.

Is the IPS panel good for color work?

It is fine for casual photo and video editing thanks to IPS color and viewing angles, but it is not a calibrated professional display. Gamers are the intended buyer.

What connections does it need for the full refresh rate?

Use DisplayPort and enable the highest refresh rate in your GPU settings. HDMI often caps at a lower refresh rate depending on the version.

Our take on the Acer Nitro Gaming Monitor

A 24-inch-class 1080p IPS gaming monitor from Acer's Nitro line, built around a 320 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time. The combination of IPS color and a very high refresh rate suits fast shooters and esports play more than cinematic single-player games. At 1080p on a screen this size, pixel density is high enough to look sharp, and the high frame rate is easy to drive with a mid-range GPU.
