Is the Acer Nitro V 16S AI worth it?

At $1,399.99 at the tracked store as of November 1, 2026, it is a fair price for a 32 GB, RTX 5060 machine with a 180 Hz screen. It makes most sense if you play at 1200p and want memory headroom without upgrading.

Can the RTX 5060 with 8 GB run new games?

Yes at 1920x1200, usually on high settings with upscaling. The 8 GB of memory is the limit: very high texture packs in the newest titles may need to be lowered.

How does it compare with the previous Nitro V 16?

The main changes are the newer Ryzen 7 260 and RTX 5060 plus 32 GB of DDR5, which should raise frame rates and multitasking headroom. The 16-inch 180 Hz 1200p screen formula carries over.

Is 32 GB of RAM overkill?

Not for gaming plus a browser, chat apps and streaming at the same time. It also means you will not need to open the laptop to add memory later.

What comes in the box?

The laptop, its power adapter and the usual paperwork. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed, so no separate license purchase is needed.

Only one price has been recorded, $1,399.99 on November 1, 2026, so there is no cheaper point yet. Watch for drops around major sales events, when gaming laptops usually get cut.

Our take on the Acer Nitro V 16S AI Gaming Laptop ANV16S-41-R2AJ

The Acer Nitro V 16S AI is a 16-inch gaming laptop with a Ryzen 7 260, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, a 1 TB SSD and an 8 GB GeForce RTX 5060 driving a 1920x1200 IPS panel at 180 Hz. The high refresh rate and 32 GB of memory stand out for the price class, and the 16:10 screen gives more vertical room than the usual 16:9. Its only recorded price is $1,399.99 at the one store tracked, dated November 1, 2026, so there is no lower point to compare against yet. That figure sits at the top of its short price history, which means nothing has undercut it so far.
