How much floor does one 12-pack cover?

Twelve 12 x 12 inch tiles cover 12 square feet. Measure your room and add about 10 percent for cuts and waste.

Do the tiles need adhesive?

They are designed for peel-and-place use, but on smooth floors many people lay them loose. Use carpet tape or the tile's backing at doorways and edges where traffic is heavy.

Can I use them outdoors?

No. Achim lists these tiles for indoor use only, so keep them out of sun, rain and freezing temperatures.

Vacuum regularly and blot spills with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For a deep clean, pull up the stained tile and replace it with a spare.

Our take on the Achim Nexus Carpet Tiles 12-Pack

Achim Nexus carpet tiles are 12-inch square peel-and-place tiles in solid navy, sold in a 12-pack that covers 12 square feet. The polyester face is low-pile and made for indoor use, so they suit basements, playrooms and rentals where you want a floor down without adhesive. At $22.63 at The Home Depot as of November 8, 2026, the 12-pack works out to about $1.89 per square foot, a typical price for budget self-stick carpet tile rather than a markdown.
