Our take on the actbest Blaze Plus 16"x4.0" 30MPH E-Bike for Teens

The Actbest Blaze Plus is a Class 3 fat-tire e-bike with a 2000W peak motor, 48V 15.6Ah removable battery and full suspension, aimed at teens and smaller riders on 16" x 4.0" tires. It claims a 32+ MPH top speed and up to 75 miles of pedal-assist range, with a mid-mounted color display and speed-control settings parents can adjust. Its 4.8/5 rating from 216 buyers is strong for the price class, though the small 16-inch wheels limit it to shorter riders and lower-speed stability.

Questions and answers

Is the Blaze Plus worth it for a teenager?
Yes, if the rider fits the 16-inch wheel size and you set the speed limit. The torque and suspension are strong for the price, and parents report the speed controls work well.
How fast does it go, and can I limit the speed?
It is Class 3 with a claimed 32+ MPH top speed. The display and controller let you lower the assist and speed limits, which is the setting parents mention using.
What is the real battery range?
Actbest claims up to 75 miles in pedal assist. Expect far less at high assist and near top speed; a realistic mixed ride is closer to 20 to 35 miles.
Who does the 16-inch size fit?
It suits teens and shorter adults, roughly under 5'8". Taller or heavier riders will feel cramped and less stable at speed.
What comes in the box?
The bike, charger, two pedals, two keys, a user manual, three open-end wrenches, three tools and a Phillips head. Assembly is reported as easy.
When is it cheapest?
E-bike prices usually dip around Black Friday, back-to-school and end-of-season sales. Check the price history on this page before buying.
