Our take on the Actvty Christmas Resin Molds Silicone, 6 Pcs Round Ornament Pendant Molds

A two-sheet silicone mold set for casting Christmas ornament and pendant shapes in epoxy resin. The sheets hold 16 cavities in total, and each finished piece measures about 2.75 inches across and a quarter inch thick. Flexible silicone makes the cured resin easy to pop out. It is a small seasonal craft set, so check the price against other holiday resin mold sets before buying.

Questions and answers

What is included in the Actvty Christmas resin mold set?
Two flexible silicone mold sheets with 16 cavities in total, shaped for Christmas ornaments and pendants. No resin, tools or hanging hardware are included.
What size are the finished pieces?
Each cavity makes a piece about 2.75 inches across and 0.25 inch deep. That fits small tree ornaments and pendants.
Does it work with UV resin or only epoxy?
It is made for epoxy resin, and flexible silicone generally works with UV resin too. Cure times differ, so follow your resin's instructions.
How do I get bubbles out of the small cavities?
Pour slowly in a thin stream and poke trapped bubbles with a toothpick. A heat gun or brief torch pass over the surface also helps.
Is this set worth it compared with buying single ornament molds?
It gives you 16 cavities in one purchase, which is cheaper than buying that many single molds. You trade shape variety for the Christmas theme.
When is it cheapest?
Holiday craft supplies often drop in price after Christmas and during early fall sales. Compare the current price with its recent range before buying.
