Pros
  • Non-slip backing keeps it in place without a separate pad
  • Stain- and fade-resistant polyester microfiber
  • OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified
  • Medium 0.39-inch pile is soft but easy to vacuum
  • 5 by 7.5 feet fits most living rooms and bedrooms
Cons
  • Machine-made polyester, not a wool or hand-tufted rug
  • Only one store lists it, so price comparison is limited
  • Thick pile can be harder to clean under furniture
  • Air-dry care means no machine washing

Questions and answers

Is the Addison Mayfield AMF584 rug good for pets?
Yes. It is marketed for pet owners, with stain-resistant microfiber and a non-slip backing. The medium pile vacuums easily, which helps with shedding.
Does it need a rug pad?
No. The rug has a non-slip backing built in, so a separate pad is optional. A pad still adds cushioning on hard floors.
What size is the AMF584?
It is 60 by 90 inches, or 5 by 7.5 feet, in a rectangular shape. That fits under a coffee table or a queen bed.
How do you clean it?
Spot clean and vacuum regularly, then air-dry if it gets damp. The polyester microfiber is stain resistant, but it is not machine washable.
Is $41.99 a good price?
It is a low price for a 5-by-7.5-foot rug with a non-slip backing. Walmart is the only store listing it at $41.99 as of November 5, 2026, so there is little to compare against.
Is it safe for a nursery?
It is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified and listed for nurseries. The medium pile is soft underfoot for crawling.
Where is the Addison Mayfield AMF584 Rug cheapest?
At Walmart, for $41.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Addison Mayfield AMF584 Rug?
8 stores we checked sell it, including Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, BoldRugs.com, LuxeDecor, PaylessRugs.com.
