Our take on the Adjustable Swivel Office Chair with High Back and Flip-up Arm

This is a fabric executive office chair with a high back, swivel base and flip-up adjustable arms. Its standout spec is a 400 lb weight capacity, well above the 250–300 lb typical of chairs in this price band. At $143.99 at FactoryPure as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, with the other three stores pricing it higher.

  • Flip-up arms let the chair slide fully under a desk
  • High back supports the shoulders and head
  • Adjustable arm height suits different desk heights
  • Swivel base and fabric upholstery in neutral gray
Cons
  • Fabric picks up stains and pet hair more than mesh or leather
  • No mesh back, so it runs warmer in long sessions

Questions and answers

Is $143.99 a good price for this chair?
It is the lowest of the four stores listing it new as of November 3, 2026, so it is a good price against the current field. Chairs in this class often dip during holiday sales, so watch for further cuts.
Will it fit under a standard desk?
Yes, once the arms are flipped up. The seat tops out at 21.65 in, so check that your desk clearance is above that height.
Is it suitable for a 350 lb user?
Yes. It is rated to 400 lb, which leaves headroom for a 350 lb user and is the main reason to pick it over lighter-duty chairs.
Does it have a headrest?
The high back extends to shoulder and head height, but it is a one-piece back rather than a separate adjustable headrest.
What is the seat height range?
The maximum seat height is 21.65 in. The minimum is not listed, so confirm it with the store if you are short or use a low desk.
How does it compare with a mesh task chair?
It offers more padding and a higher weight rating, but a mesh chair breathes better and is usually lighter to move.
Where is the Adjustable Swivel Office Chair with High Back and Flip-up Arm cheapest?
At FactoryPure, for $143.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Adjustable Swivel Office Chair with High Back and Flip-up Arm?
