Questions and answers

Is the Aerolatte French Press worth it?
At $34.99 at Coffee Pour Life as of November 5, 2026, it is a low-cost way to brew full-immersion coffee. It suits anyone who wants a simple glass press and does not need a grinder or pods.
How does it compare with a cheaper basic French press?
The main upgrades are the stainless steel frame and the built-in microfilter, which reduce sludge. A basic press costs less but often has a coarser mesh and a plainer build.
Is the glass carafe dishwasher safe?
Yes, the beaker is dishwasher safe. Wash the filter and stainless steel frame by hand to keep the mesh and finish intact.
What grind should I use?
Use a coarse grind, similar to sea salt. A fine grind will slip past the microfilter and leave sediment in the cup.
How many cups does it make?
It is a 5-cup press, so it brews about 5 cups per batch. That suits one or two people; larger groups will need a second batch.
When is it cheapest?
