Our take on the Aidoly 20 Inch Carry-On Luggage with TSA Lock

The Aidoly 20-Inch Carry-On is a hard-shell spinner with a built-in TSA combination lock, sized to meet most US domestic carry-on limits. At 6.4 lb it is light for a hard-shell bag, which leaves more of an airline's weight allowance for your things. It is a budget-tier bag, so expect basic wheels and a simple telescoping handle rather than premium hardware. No current price was provided, so check the live comparison before buying.

Best forWeekend and 2–3 day tripsTravelers who want a built-in TSA lockBuyers who prefer hard shells over soft bagsAnyone packing light to avoid checked-bag fees
Pros
  • Hard shell protects contents and resists rain
  • Built-in TSA combination lock means no separate padlock
  • 6.4 lb is light for a 20-inch hard-shell spinner
  • Four spinner wheels roll upright and turn easily in tight spaces
  • 20-inch size fits most major US airline carry-on sizers
Cons
  • Hard shells scuff and show scratches more than fabric bags
  • No exterior pockets for quick-access items
  • Budget wheels and handle are the usual weak points on bags at this tier
  • Clamshell halves can be shallow once packing cubes go in
  • Lock adds little security beyond deterring casual tampering

Questions and answers

Is this bag worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you want a light, locked hard-shell carry-on at a low price. If you fly often, spend more on a bag with better wheels and a sturdier handle.
Will it fit in the overhead bin?
At 20 inches it is sized for most US domestic carry-on limits, but dimensions vary by airline. Measure the bag against your carrier's published sizer before you fly.
How do I set the TSA lock?
Most TSA combination locks ship set to 0-0-0. Press the reset button, set your code, and release; the exact steps are in the included instructions.
Is the shell flexible or rigid?
It is a rigid hard shell, so it protects contents but does not expand. Packing cubes help keep the two halves organized.
When is it cheapest?
Luggage discounts most around back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Check the price history chart to see whether the current price is near its low.
