Questions and answers

Is the ainhue A38 worth $29.99?
For light everyday cutting, yes. You get an aluminum OTF body, a glass breaker and 10 spare blades for about the price of a basic folding utility knife.
What blades does it take?
It uses standard exchangeable scalpel blades, and 10 come in the box. Replacements are widely sold and inexpensive.
How big is it in the hand?
It is 7.2 inches open with a 4.45-inch handle, so it fits most hands for light tasks. Closed, the slim aluminum body carries easily in a pocket.
Can I carry it legally?
OTF knives are restricted in some states and cities, and scalpel-blade knives can fall under different rules. Check your local law before carrying it.
Does it have a safety lock?
The auto-retract slider is the main safety feature, but there is no separate lock. Keep fingers clear of the blade path when firing it.
When is it cheapest?
Only one store listed it new at $29.99 as of November 3, 2026, so there is little price history to time a drop. Watch for bundle deals that include extra blades.
Where is the ainhue A38 Auto Retractable Scalpel OTF Utility Knife cheapest?
At Samior Knives, for $29.99, as of our latest check.
