Questions and answers

Is it worth it for a small apartment?
Yes, if you cook for one or two people and lack a built-in dishwasher. It handles a day's dishes without a plumber, but a family will outrun its capacity.
How does it compare with a full-size dishwasher?
It cleans similarly but holds far less and sits on the counter. Full-size units fit more and dry better, but need dedicated plumbing and space.
How loud is it?
The rated sound level is 45 dB, about the level of a quiet conversation. It is fine in a studio or RV.
Does it fit under cabinets?
At 20 inches tall it clears most upper cabinets, but measure your clearance and leave room for the door to open. Depth is 14 inches.
What do I need to hook it up?
A nearby sink faucet and drain, plus the included hose and adapter. Check that your faucet thread matches the adapter before buying.
When is it cheapest?
Countertop dishwasher prices dip during holiday sales and back-to-school promotions. Track the price history here and buy when it drops below its recent average.
